A Road Bond provides comfort to a Local Authority in the event of a problem with the Work undertaken by the Developer or with any Obligation / Point which the Developer promised to do. The Bond would be called upon if anything happens to the Developer or with any of its Obligations to Guarantee the Road is completed properly. Once the Developer has completed their Obligations, the Local Authority will normally Adopt the Road.
